Andrew Fetterly Wilkes-Krier (born May 9, 1979), known professionally as Andrew W.K., is an American rock singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, record producer and motivational speaker. He is known for his combination of rock, metal and pop music and anthemic songs about partying. Raised in Michigan, Wilkes-Krier began his musical career in the mid-1990s. He performed in a number of local bands before eventually moving to New York, where he produced his first recordings under the Andrew W.K. moniker. After gaining initial attention with the 2000 EP Girls Own Juice, Wilkes-Krier rose to prominence with the release of his debut studio album I Get Wet in November 2001. In the years following its release, he has undertaken a number of other musical and non-musical ventures including television and radio work, motivational speaking and writing.

Terry Downes, BEM was a British middleweight boxer, occasional film actor, and businessman. He was nicknamed the "Paddington Express" for his aggressive fighting style. Downes was recognised as world champion by The Ring magazine in August 1961, and was named Sports Writers' Association Sportsman of the Year later that year Post-boxing, Downes acted occasionally between 1965 and 1990, usually appearing as a thug, villain or bodyguard. One of his more prominent roles was in Roman Polanski's 1967 film The Fearless Vampire Killers, in which he played "Koukol", a hunchbacked servant. His other film credits included appearances in A Study in Terror (1965), Five Ashore in Singapore (1967), The Golden Lady (1979), If You Go Down in the Woods Today (1981), and the Derek Jarman film Caravaggio (1986).

Actif durant les années 1990, il est principalement connu pour avoir joué Mimi-Siku dans Un Indien dans la ville aux côtés de Thierry Lhermitte, Patrick Timsit, Arielle Dombasle et Miou-Miou. Issu d'une famille recomposée dont il est l'aîné, Ludwig Briand a notamment une sœur utérine, Lucrèce Pocquet, qui a travaillé avec lui et d'autres acteurs pour la réalisation d'un livre audio pour enfants (Les Enfants du futur: l'extraordinaire odyssée, Alan Simon, Walt Disney Records, 1996). En 1997, il apparaît dans la série télévisée Un et un font six, avec notamment Pierre Arditi et Brigitte Fossey. Après six épisodes, il arrête la série pour se consacrer à ses études. En parallèle à ces dernières, il est acteur dans la troupe Les acteurs du dimanche qui ne jouent que le jeudi. Il joue entre autres dans une pièce intitulée 4 minutes pour séduire. Après une maîtrise de droit, il travaille comme attaché commercial dans l'immobilier. Il apparaît le 26 juin 2007 sur la chaîne de la TNT Direct 8, dans l'émission Morandini! où il déclare alors ne pas avoir de proposition cinématographique. Il travaille ensuite en tant qu'expert cigare dans les boutiques en duty free de l'aéroport de Paris. Il participe à l'émission de France 2 Seriez-vous un bon expert? du mercredi 13 juin 2012 comme candidat. En janvier 2013, il devient champion d’Île-de-France de poker amateur (Idf cup). En mars 2015, il intègre l'ENG (École nationale des greffes) à Dijon en tant que greffier stagiaire. He graduated in editing at the National Film School of Denmark and has edited a large number of documentaries and feature films besides directing two feature films, among these, Et skud fra hjertet (1986). He is the recipient of some 23 Danish and international awards for his commercials. The King is Alive (Dogme 4) is his third feature film. The King is Alive tells the story of a mixed group of tourists in Namibia, Africa, whose bus breaks down in a remote, abandoned village (formerly a mining town). Facing starvation, dehydration, cabin fever, and death, one of the group decides to stage a production of Shakespeare's King Lear and casts the others as characters. As the thin veneer of civilized behavior breaks down, the group experiences the absurdity of putting on a play (for no audience except one lone indigenous man) in such dire and fatal circumstances. Filmed in stark digital and adhering to the tenets of Dogme filmmaking, The King is Alive is a fascinating study in the dark heart of people under extreme stress. Herzogian in its theme and mood, the film's location (remote Namibia) is as much a character in the film as the actors, like the space ship in Ridley Scott's Alien. The King is Alive features Jennifer Jason-Leigh and Brion James (Blade Runner's "Leon"; Cabin Boy). Dark, tense, and desperate, it stands as a powerful piece of filmmaking. Levring's next film after The King is Alive is called The Intended and features some of the same actors from the former. Set in the jungle of Borneo in the 1920s, it concerns an isolated English settlement/ivory trading station. Similar in nature to The King is Alive, it focuses on what happens to small isolated groups under both internal psychological pressure and external pressure from the environment around them. As The King is Alive was filmed by Dogme rules and restrictions, The Intended instead has steady camera shots (rather than shaky/handheld) and ambient music throughout. Subtle yet powerful, the film explores Conradian contexts through the lens of a female perspective. Its influence can be seen in the Australian frontier film The Proposition.
