Jean-Baptiste Alaize, né le 10 mai 1991 à Muyinga au Burundi, est un athlète français amputé tibial spécialisé dans le sprint et la longueur. Il représente la France aux Jeux paralympiques de Rio en 2016. Jean-Baptiste Alaize est né au Burundi en 1991 à la veille de la guerre civile burundaise. À l'âge de trois ans, témoin du meurtre de sa mère, il est grièvement blessé à la suite de coups de machette et laissé pour mort. Il survit miraculeusement mais doit être amputé d'une jambe. Il arrive en France le 12 juillet 1998 afin d'être appareillé et est adopté à Bonlieu-sur-Roubion. Il court avec une prothèse en carbone spécialement conçue pour la compétition handisport et a intégré l'INSEP en 2010. Jean-Baptiste Alaize est quadruple champion et recordman du monde du saut en longueur des moins de 23 ans. Il a été sélectionné pour la première fois en équipe de France Élite en janvier 2011 à l'occasion des Championnats du monde handisport de Christchurch (Nouvelle-Zélande) où il a pris la sixième place au saut en longueur et la huitième sur 200m. Jean-Baptiste fait partie du collectif des Champions de la Paix de Peace and Sport, un groupe de plus de 100 sportifs de haut niveau engagés personnellement en faveur du mouvement de la paix par le sport. Parrain des Jeux de l’Amitié 2017, il est retourné dans son pays d’origine, le Burundi, le temps d'un week-end rempli de sport et de dialogue interculturel. He learned carpentry to help keep himself employed between acting jobs. In 1999, he landed the role of Eddie Moliano in the Sky One series Dream Team. He was a reporter for the morning show RI:SE, and eventually became host of the UK version of Fear Factor. Arnold Rüütel OIH (Estonian pronunciation: [ˈɑrnold ˈryːtel]) (born 10 May 1928) is an Estonian politician and agricultural scientist. He has served as the last chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Estonian SSR from April 8, 1983, to March 29, 1990, Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Estonian SSR (from May 8, 1990: Supreme Council of the Republic of Estonia) from March 29, 1990, to October 6, 1992, and was the third president of Estonia from October 8, 2001, to October 9, 2006. He was the second president since Estonia regained independence in 1991. Rüütel also served as one of fifteen Deputy Chairmen of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.
