Vittorio Emanuele Orlando, né à Palerme le 19 mai 1860 et mort à Rome le 1er décembre 1952, est un homme d'État italien. Président italien de la victoire des forces de l'Entente, dont l'Italie fait partie dès 1915, face aux Empires centraux, il représente l'Italie à la Conférence de paix de Paris de 1919 avec son ministre des Affaires étrangères, Sidney Sonnino. Orlando est ensuite membre et président de l'Assemblée constituante italienne (1946-1948) qui change le régime politique italien en une république. Outre son rôle proéminent pour la politique de l'Italie, il est connu pour ses écrits, dont plus de cent travaux sur le thème de la justice, et a travaillé comme professeur de droit.

Passionate about film and the audiovisual medium from a young age, in 2019, he began studying film directing at ECCBI (Escuela de Creación Cinematográfica de Bilbao) and specialized in writing horror, fantasy, and science fiction. He wrote and directed his first short film, Si te mueres, te mato (2021), a zombie comedy selected at various genre festivals and winner of the audience award for Best Short Film at FANT (Festival de Cine Fantástico de Bilbao). At the same time, he worked as an assistant director and production manager on several short films and as a production assistant on feature films such as Código Emperador (Jorge Coira, 2022) and El cuarto pasajero (Alex de la Iglesia, 2022). In 2022, he wrote and directed his second short film, Conchita (2023), as part of the Desafío Buñuel film rally. In 2024, he co-wrote and co-directed Sin piel (2024) alongside Estibaliz Villa.
