Il entre à quatorze-ans aux Beaux-Arts de Tours et à dix-sept est déjà connu de la bourgeoisie locale pour ses portraits. Il entre à L'Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris en 1932 dans l'atelier de Paul-Albert Laurens, mais après le décès l'année suivante de celui-ci, ses élèves sollicitent Edouard Vuillard qui leur accorde deux matinées par moi. Bientôt seul Vimenet est encore auprès du Maître et l'élève devient ami, pendant quatre ans ils furent très proches. A l'exposition universelle de 1937 il rencontre Paul Grimault créateur du premier studio de cinéma d'animation français et les frères Prévert. En 1938 Vuillard le fait venir à Genève pour la réalisation de Les muses protégeant la paix commandée par la Société des Nations; il effectue le report aux carreaux. En 1939 il est mobilisé, Vuillard meurt. Démobilisé en août 1940 il rejoint Grimault et collabore à plusieurs dessins animés. Comme les Nabis autrefois, il collabore au théâtre, à la réalisation de masques, dessine une BD, Une vie de chien ou l'histoire de Charlot pour Libération. En 1952 il obtient le prix Abd-el-Tif de peintures dont la récompense est un séjour de deux ans dans la villa Abd-el-Tif sur les hauteurs d'Alger. En 1962, il habite Cachan, et en 1963 joue un garde-chasse dans le film Mouchette de Robert Bresson. Retourné dans sa terre tourangelle, il s'installe à Neuilly-le-Brignon et travaille son art, peinture et sculpture . Les expositions se succèdent dont une rétrospective en 1985 au Musée des Beaux-Arts de Tours avec 104 œuvres.

Ricky Williams is an American former football running back who played 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), one season in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the University of Texas, where he was a two-time All-American and won the 1998 Heisman Trophy. Williams was drafted by the New Orleans Saints fifth overall in the 1999 NFL Draft and spent three seasons with the team before he was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2002. He played for the Dolphins for two seasons, and retired for the first time from football in 2004. Due to his suspension from the NFL in 2006, he played for the Toronto Argonauts that year. Williams re-joined the Dolphins in 2007 and played with them until 2010, and spent the 2011 season with the Baltimore Ravens. He was formerly an assistant football coach at the University of the Incarnate Word and is currently a football analyst for ESPN's Longhorn Network. In 2015, Williams was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
