Agnès Varda, naît Arlette Varda le 30 mai 1928 à Ixelles (Belgique) d'un père grec, Eugène Varda, et d'une mère française, Christiane Pasquet. Elle grandit à Ixelles, rue de l'Aurore, avec ses quatre frères et sœurs, (Lucien et Hélène ses aînés, Jean et Sylvie ses cadets). À cause de la guerre, sa famille fuit la Belgique le 10 mai 1940 pour s'installer à Sète, où elle passe son adolescence, sur un bateau amarré au port à quai, qu'elle reconstituera le temps de quelques plans dans Les Plages d'Agnès. Dans ce film autobiographique, elle affirme également avoir été prénommée Arlette en hommage à la ville d'Arles, où elle aurait été conçue. Elle a fait changer son prénom pour Agnès auprès d'un greffier à l'âge de 18 ans, en hommage aux origines grecques de son père. Elle fut éclaireuse à la FFE de Sète, où des cheftaines ont fait passer en Suisse plusieurs petites filles juives. En 1943, après l'arrivée des Allemands en zone libre, sa famille fuit la ville de Sète pour Paris, où elle passe son baccalauréat. En 1947, à l'âge de 19 ans, elle fugue pendant trois mois par volonté d'indépendance. Préparant longuement et méticuleusement son coup, elle affirme avoir fui en prenant le train jusqu'à Marseille, puis par bateau jusqu'en Corse, et avoir travaillé sur des bateaux de pêche. Après cette fugue, elle monte à Paris et suit des études à l'École technique de photographie et de cinématographie de l'École Vaugirard ainsi que l'histoire de l'art à l'École du Louvre. Après l'obtention de son CAP de photographe en 1949, elle se met à son compte et devient photographe indépendante. En 1951, elle achète deux boutiques délabrées au 86 rue Daguerre dans le 14e arrondissement de Paris, que son père qualifie d'écurie. Elle s'y installe avec une amie, Valentine Schlegel, et construit et aménage un studio - laboratoire de photographie. Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, better known by his stage name CeeLo Green (or Cee Lo Green), is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, composer, record producer, actor, and businessman. Green is known for his work in soul music, including the hit singles "Crazy" and "Fuck You". Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Green came to initial prominence as a member of the Southern hip hop group Goodie Mob. He subsequently began a solo career, releasing two albums on Arista Records: Cee-Lo Green and His Perfect Imperfections (2002) and Cee-Lo Green... Is the Soul Machine (2004). Green's next project was Gnarls Barkley, a collaboration with DJ Danger Mouse. In 2006, the duo scored a worldwide hit with "Crazy", which reached the top five in twenty countries, including the U.S. and U.K. With Gnarls Barkley, Green released two albums: 2006's platinum-selling St. Elsewhere and 2008's The Odd Couple. Pour sa part, celui-ci jouait le rôle de John Danby. Au cours des représentations de Dry Rot, John Chapman a écrit une nouvelle comédie Simple Spymen une comédie à 12 personnages dans laquelle Ray Cooney a joué un petit rôle, Corporal Flight. C'est alors que, pour ne pas s'ennuyer dans sa loge, il a commencé à écrire lui-même. Sa première comédie (coécrite avec Tony Hilton) était One for the pot, créée en 1961. Mais plus tard, à force de se côtoyer sur scène, l'amitié entre Ray et John a donné naissance à une collaboration qui a engendré, entre autres, les deux premières de ses pièces jouées en France, sous les titres de Le Vison Voyageur et Le Saut du Lit. Brown, a stage actor for decades, is best remembered by audiences as Captain Brackett in South Pacific (which he repeated in the movie version) and for his performances as 'Benny Van Buren' in the stage/film version of Damn Yankees in 1958, and the following year as park caretaker George Lemon in the classic courtroom drama, Anatomy of a Murder (1959). For his stage performance in "Damn Yankees!", he earned Broadway's Tony Award in 1956, as did actor Ray Walston, actress Gwen Verdon and her choreographer husband Bob Fosse, among others, all for the same Tony Award-winning musical.
