Chandradeep Das (born 23rd June 1989, Kolkata) was a co-writer and assistant to his father, eminent filmmaker Anjan Das, whose films were regularly feted at festivals like Berlinale, Rotterdam, BFI London, etc. He co-wrote his father’s last film, which premiered at the International Film Festival of India in 2013. Chandradeep has written, directed, and produced a few short films that have obtained European distribution and been selected at hundreds of prestigious film festivals all over the world, such as Flickerfest, Brussels, Kolkata, IFFK, etc. His feature film in development, an India-Hungary coproduction, was a part of the Top 20 South Asian projects at the NFDC Film Bazaar Co-Production Market a couple of years ago.

Originaire du département du Lot, après ses études secondaires au lycée de Cahors, Jean Deschamps entreprend à Toulouse une licence de philosophie et, simultanément, suit les cours de peinture et d’architecture de l’École des Beaux-Arts, d’où il sortira avec une médaille d’or, ainsi que les classes du conservatoire d’art dramatique, où il obtiendra les premiers prix de tragédie et de comédie. Engagé par Alexandre Arquillière au Théâtre du Forez basé à Saint-Étienne, il se verra confier tous les premiers rôles tragiques (le Cid, Ruy Blas, Cinna, Nicomède, Oreste d’Andromaque, Œdipe roi, etc.). Quittant le TNP, il entre à la Comédie-Française, où il fait ses débuts (en 1956) dans le rôle de Titus de Bérénice aux côtés d’Annie Ducaux, (mise en scène Maurice Escande).

Arthur Opdeweerdt dit Arthur Devère, né le 24 juin 1883 à Bruxelles et mort le 23 septembre 1961 à Bruxelles, est un acteur de théâtre et de cinéma belge. Il commence sa longue carrière cinématographique en 1913 dans deux courts-métrages burlesques d'Alfred Machin : Saïda a enlevé Manneken-Pis et dans L'Agent Rigolo et son chien policier à côté de l'acteur Willy Maury et Fernand Crommelynck qui joue le rôle de l'Agent Rigolo, films qui mettent en scène une panthère fétiche Mimir la panthère. En 1932, Arthur Devère joue dans Le Mariage de Mademoiselle Beulemans de Jean Choux. En 1943, il joue le rôle de Goupi "Mes Sous", dans Goupi Mains Rouges, de Jacques Becker. En 1949, il joue le rôle du père Jacques dans une adaptation cinématographique : Le Mystère de la chambre jaune de Henri Aisner inspiré du roman de Gaston Leroux, aux côtés de Serge Reggiani, interprète du rôle principal de Joseph Rouletabille, qui enquête dans un manoir où une jeune femme a été agressée dans des circonstances mystérieuses. En 1951, Arthur Devère interprète le rôle d'un commissaire dans Paris chante toujours ! de Pierre Montazel, un film musical dont la réédition permet surtout de retrouver une pléiade de chanteurs et de comédiens de cette époque.

Philipp Gufler was born in Augsburg and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He attended artist residencies at De Ateliers, Amsterdam, Netherlands (2015-2017), Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, Maine, USA (2019) and Delfina Foundation, London, UK (2021), among others. He lives in Amsterdam and Munich. He is an active member of the self-organized Forum Queeres Archiv München. Philipp Gufler "explores matters of queer imagery, questioning the Western historiography, in which heterosexuality and a binary gender system define the social norm". He spans various media in his practice, including silkscreen prints on fabric and mirrors, artist books, performances and video installations. His artist book and video installation Projection on the Crisis (Gauweilereein in Munich "takes a kaleidoscopic and retrospective look at the early days of the AIDS crisis in Germany". In the ongoing series of quilts, Philipp Gufler refers to artists, writers, magazines and lost queer spaces. The screen-printed fabrics have been exhibited at the Württembergischer Kunstverein, Stuttgart and at Munich Documentation Centre for the History of National Socialism among other venues. In 2020, he produced a short film and a zine about the singer and entertainer Lana Kaiser.

Aimée Iacobescu, born together with her sibling brother Dorel, on 23rd of June, but registered on 1st July, 1946, in the village of Unguriu, Buzau county, studied Acting at the Theatre and Cinema Institute "Ion Luca Caragiale" (IATC) in Bucharest, with professor Beate Fredanov, assisted by Octavian Cotescu and Laurent Azimioara, graduating in 1968. She started to play at the "National Theatre" in Bucharest already while in school, in 1963, in a play directed by Sica Alexandrescu, who had remarked her reciting poetry. After finishing her studies, she was employed by the same "National Teatre" in Bucharest, where she played for 40 years, between 1968-2008, filming also in movies, while her brother left the country and settled in Paris. She is best known for the part of Lady Ralu, a historic figure in the films with "haiduks".
