William Sheller, né William Desbœuf le 9 juillet 1946 à Paris (nom modifié plus tard en William Hand), est un auteur-compositeur-interprète français. Considéré comme l'un des plus grands auteurs, compositeurs et interprètes français depuis les années 1970, William Sheller bénéficie d'une formation approfondie en musique classique. Tout en composant de nombreuses œuvres classiques, c'est dans le domaine de la variété qu'il percera. L'influence de sa formation classique se manifeste par un style musical sophistiqué, alliant parfois des éléments de la musique classique avec de la musique pop. William Sheller se fait connaître du grand public en 1975 avec le titre Rock 'n' Dollars. La même année sort son premier album de chansons, William Sheller, presque entièrement écrit et composé par lui. A native of Central, South Carolina, Graham received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1981. Most of his active duty during his military service happened from 1982 to 1988, when he served with the Judge Advocate General's Corps in the United States Air Force, as a defense attorney and then with the Air Force's chief prosecutor in Europe, based in West Germany. Later his entire service in the U.S. Air Force Reserve ran concurrently with his congressional career. He was awarded a Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in 2014 and held the rank of colonel.
