Un Bac C en poche, Bruno Salomone débute sa carrière sur les planches au milieu des années 90. Il écume les cafés-théâtres avec des spectacles comiques dans lesquels il impose un genre basé sur l'absurde. Après sa participation à l'émission télévisée Graines de Stars en 1996, son passage sur la scène parisienne du Carré Blanc est décisif : il y fait la connaissance d'Eric Collado, Eric Massot, Emmanuel Joucla et Jean Dujardin, avec lesquels il forme en 1998 la populaire troupe des "Nous C Nous" qui fera les beaux jours de l'émission La Fiesta de Patrick Sébastien. Entamant une carrière solo dès 2001, il se produit dans des one-man-show où son sketch du cochon d'inde fait fureur, et il est la voix off du jeu Burger Quizz présenté par Alain Chabat sur Canal +. Ses débuts sur grand écran, il les effectue aux côtés de Saïd Taghmaoui dans Gamer (2001), mais doit toutefois attendre 2004 pour trouver un rôle plus consistant, celui d'un pote encombrant, dans Le Carton, film au casting à la fois jeune et comique. L'année suivante, Bruno Salomone retrouve son fidèle compagnon de route Jean Dujardin et campe face à lui Igor d'Hossegor, l'adversaire du désormais culte Brice de Nice. Il collabore ensuite à nouveau avec le réalisateur James Huth sur le tournage de Hellphone (2006), puis s'illustre la même année dans des fictions plus sérieuses, comme le drame intitulé La Maison de Manuel Poirier, performance qui rompt avec l'image de comique qu'il s'est forgée depuis ses débuts. Cette incursion dramatique ne l'empêche pas, loin de là, de miser essentiellement sur le registre de la comédie, qu'il retrouve pour la suite de L'Elève Ducobu, dont il partage l'affiche avec l'humoriste de longue date Elie Semoun. Parallèlement, il s'illustre dans de nombreuses fictions télévisées comme Clara Sheller ou Kaamelott, où il tient des rôles récurrents, et alterne avec divers téléfilms (Au secours les enfants reviennent !, Le Temps est à l'orage). Mais c'est surtout depuis qu'il participe à la série à succès Fais pas ci, fais pas ça, dans laquelle il campe l'un des personnages principaux depuis 2007, que Bruno Salomone augmente à nouveau sa cote de popularité auprès du grand public. Habitué au doublage, il a également à son actif une voxographie assez conséquente : Syndrome dans Les Indestructibles (2004), Zoc dans Lucas, fourmi malgré lui (2006), Jolly Jumper chez Lucky Luke (2009), Nico dans Une vie de chat (2010), Albert dans Un monstre à Paris (2011) ou Karl / Le Hibou dans Gus petit oiseau, grand voyage!, autant d'exemples montrant à quel point cette activité constitue l'une des constantes centrales de sa carrière. Relativement rare sur grand écran, Bruno Salomone prend tout de même part à la comédie déjantée La Clinique de l'amour où il tient l'un des rôles principaux, un chirurgien à la fois séducteur et minable. L'acteur privilégiant le petit écran reprend aussi son personnage culte d'Igor d'Hossegor dans Brice 3, suite de Brice de Nice bien évidemment portée par Jean Dujardin.

Though he planned to obtain a degree in teaching, a physician-uncle suggested that medicine might offer more involving experiences for an aspiring writer. Heeding that advice, Stern enrolled in Medical School at the University of Toronto. During his schooling, he continued to write, switching to TV scripts, and selling his first script to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation prior to his graduation in 1961.
