He has also appeared in several motion pictures, such as In the Valley of Elah, Flightplan, Radio, and A.I. Artificial Intelligence. In 2005, the movie Radio won a CAMIE Award and, in 2006, the cast of Deadwood was nominated for a SAG Award.

Scénariste majeur du cinéma français par sa faculté à s'adapter à tout type d'univers tout en y apportant une touche de noirceur teintée de cynisme, Brach fut le collaborateur récurrent de Roman Polanski et Jean-Jacques Annaud. En 1943, alors qu’il n’a que 16 ans, sa famille le pousse à s’engager dans la division Charlemagne, dont il est le plus jeune combattant. Après la bataille de Stalingrad, il se bat à Königsberg. À l'âge de dix-huit ans, atteint de tuberculose, il est hospitalisé en sanatorium. Il y reste cinq ans et découvre la littérature. Il y rencontre le poète surréaliste Benjamin Péret, qui lui fait connaître André Breton. Dans les années cinquante, il est assistant de production, puis attaché de presse à la Twentieth Century Fox. Lee rose to prominence in his career after winning the Best Actor award at the Star Awards 1997 for his role as a hanjian in the television drama The Price of Peace, set in Japanese-occupied Singapore during World War II. In 1998, he starred as Yang Guo in The Return of the Condor Heroes, an adaptation of Louis Cha's novel of the same title. He was voted in as Taiwan's Most Popular MediaCorp Male Artiste at the Star Awards 1998 for his performance. His breakthrough performance came as Travis in the 2017 horror film It Comes at Night, and in 2019 he gained wider recognition for his work in Luce and Waves. Harrison Jr. received nominations for the Best Male Lead at the Independent Spirit Awards for the former and the Rising Star Award at the British Academy Film Awards for the latter.
