Jerry Tarkanian was an American basketball coach who coached college basketball for 31 seasons over five decades at three schools. He spent the majority of his career coaching the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels, leading them four times to the Final Four of the NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament and winning the national championship in 1990.1 Tarkanian was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013, becoming the first UNLV coach or player to be enshrined.

Pierre Koulaksezian dit Pierre Koulak est un auteur, acteur et metteur en scène français d'origine arménienne né à Saint-Chamond, Loire en 1942. Il est surtout connu pour son rôle du «Coréen», dans le film de Georges Lautner Le Pacha, sorti en 1968. Très tôt, son talent est remarqué lorsqu'il animait les marchés de la Loire, aidant sa famille à la vente de tissus. Il sera formé au Centre dramatique de Saint-Étienne (Jean Dasté), où il donnera ses premiers spectacles. Il joue ensuite des sketches avec Fernand Raynaud au Théâtre de l'Étoile puis à l'Alhambra. Il se dit dans les milieux artistiques que Fernand Raynaud considérait Pierre Koulak comme son meilleur ami. En cette qualité, Pierre Koulak fut l'auteur d'une biographie du comédien, publiée en 2011. Sa gestuelle et surtout sa capacité d'improvisation le feront repérer par de grands noms du cinéma français (Jean Gabin, Louis de Funès, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Alain Delon, Anthony Quinn). Il compte aujourd'hui plus d'une centaine d'apparitions. However, both his initial commissions, such as the spaghetti western Brandy (1964) and the crime film Crimen de doble filo (1965), and the controversial later films Tata mía (1986) and Niño Nadie (1996), have had little repercussion. Between 1994 and 1998 he was president of the Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas de España (Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences). In 2001 he was elected full member of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando and in 2002 he was awarded the Premio Nacional de Cinematografía.
