After more than 400 shows, Dave moved to Los Angeles in 1995 and landed a job at Walt Disney Feature Animation in the movie "Tarzan." It was at this time that he met a little-known animation studio called Pixar, who asked him to help develop his second feature, (Toy Story would be released later that year) “A Bug's Life ". This led to a contract with the studio and for the next six years he worked on almost every Disney Pixar animation or production film. Including the script for "The Emperor's New Groove" as well as co-written 'Finding Nemo'. He was nominated for an Oscar and BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay for Nemo, as well as a BAFTA for New Groove.

In a thirty year career, Stringer has appeared in numerous well-known British television shows, including The Bill, Open All Hours, Only Fools and Horses, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, Coronation Street, Family Affairs, Minder, Johnny Jarvis, Butterflies and My Family. He also had a small part in the film, The Long Good Friday. Stringer appeared in the first two series of The New Statesman as the fictional Member of Parliament Bob Crippen, a Labour opponent of the Conservative Alan B'Stard. Other roles have included a cameo role in Goodnight Sweetheart in the episode "You're Driving Me Crazy" as an undercover detective, and as a deputy headmaster Mr Sullivan in Press Gang (mainly appearing in the first two seasons). He appeared in the BBC drama Holby City, in an episode entitled "Doctor's Dilemma", on 18 June 2008. Stringer lives in Swansea, Wales, and is married with two children. Stringer has also made two guest appearances in the BBC Sictom Only Fools and Horses, in the episodes Go West Young Man, as an australian man, and in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, he plays Del's old business partner, Jumbo Mills. Born in Cesena, Braschi studied in Rome's Academy of Dramatic Arts where she first met Benigni in 1980. Her first film was with Benigni in 1983, the comedy Tu Mi Turbi ("You Upset Me"). She later appeared in two Jim Jarmusch films, Down by Law and Mystery Train. Braschi's two most successful collaborations with her husband have been Johnny Stecchino (1992) and La Vita è Bella (Life is Beautiful) (1997). The first, an Italian comedy that cast the actress as the girlfriend of a mobster (Benigni), was a huge hit in Italy; while the second, in which Braschi played the wife of an Italian Jew (Benigni) imprisoned in a concentration camp, was a widely-praised success that launched both Braschi and her husband into the international spotlight. She was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award as a cast member of Life is Beautiful. She is also a David di Donatello award winner (Italy's equivalent of the Oscars). Paul Gégauff est un scénariste, écrivain et dialoguiste français, né le 10 août 1922 à Blotzheim et mort le 25 décembre 1983 à Gjøvik, en Norvège . Il est principalement connu pour avoir signé le scénario de nombreux films de Claude Chabrol. En juin 1940, Paul Gégauff publie à l'âge de 18 ans un roman intitulé Burlesque. Il rencontre Éric Rohmer en 1948 et fréquente le ciné-club du quartier latin où il rencontre Jean-Luc Godard, Jean Douchet, François Truffaut, Claude Chabrol, Jacques Rivette et Jean Gruault. Gégauff, dandy et séducteur, fascine les futurs réalisateurs de la Nouvelle Vague. Il inspire ainsi plusieurs personnages de leurs films. Chez Rohmer par exemple, il inspire le dandy dans le Journal d'un scélérat, Pierre dans Le Signe du Lion, Guillaume dans La Carrière de Suzanne, Adrien dans La Collectionneuse, Jérôme dans Le Genou de Claire et Henri dans Pauline à la plage; chez Godard, le personnage de Michel Poiccard dans À bout de souffle. Les Mauvais Plaisants et Le Toit des autres, édités chez Minuit en 1951 et 1952, reçoivent un bon accueil, notamment de la part de Roger Nimier et de Georges Bataille. Paul Gégauff a également réalisé un long-métrage, Le Reflux (1962) et fait plusieurs apparitions en tant qu'acteur, notamment dans Une partie de plaisir (1975), de Claude Chabrol dont il tient la vedette aux côtés de son épouse, Danièle Gégauff. Il meurt en Norvège en 1983 dans la nuit de Noël, poignardé de trois coups par sa dernière compagne, alors âgée de vingt cinq ans, avec qui il entretenait une relation agitée, après lui avoir déclaré: «Tue-moi si tu veux mais arrête de m’emmerder.» Paul Gégauff a d'abord été marié à une jeune femme prénommée Simone, infirmière, avec qui il aura d'abord un premier fils, Pierre, puis il épousera la comédienne et productrice Danièle Gégauff (née Rosencranz).
