Réalisateur et scénariste français, Élie Wajeman a fait ses études de cinéma à la Femis. Il réalise son premier long métrage en 2012 intitulé Alyah. Le film est présenté à la Quinzaine des Réalisateurs. Trois ans plus tard, il revient avec un projet ambitieux sur Les anarchistes (Semaine de la Critique 2015) avec Tahar Rahim et Adèle Exarchopoulos. Il réalise également le polar noir Médecin de nuit (2021) avec Vincent Macaigne. Le film faisait partie de la sélection de Cannes en 2020. A la télévision il réalise deux épisodes de la série Le Bureau des légendes.

Michel Thomass est un acteur français d'origine russe né le 21 août 1905 à Moscou et mort le 18 décembre 1979 à Paris. Reconnaissable par son physique imposant, son crâne chauve et sa moustache, Michel Thomass est notamment connu pour ses petits rôles au cinéma et son travail pour la publicité. Il a tourné dans une soixantaine de films et séries télé entre 1956 et 1977. Il obtient son premier rôle majeur dans La Valse du Gorille en 1959 dans lequel il incarne l'agent secret russe. Le réalisateur Bernard Borderie le fera tourner dans trois autres de ses films dont Angélique et le Roy en 1966. Habitué à jouer des rôles d'étrangers, André Hunebelle fera appel à cinq reprises à lui. On le remarque en effet en client russe dans Furia à Bahia pour OSS 117 en 1965 et en maharadjah dans Fantômas contre Scotland Yard en 1966. Il apparaît dans quelques films américains dont Charade en 1963 où il joue face à Audrey Hepburn. Il retrouve l'actrice l'année suivante dans Deux têtes folles où il donne la réplique à William Holden. Entre 1966 et 1969, il apparaît dans trois films réalisés par Terence Young. Il meurt le 18 décembre 1979 en son domicile dans le 15e arrondissement de Paris, et, est enterré au cimetière des Mesnuls. He was born in Caracas on August 21, 1943. He combined his university studies with a theatrical activity. He receives cinematographic formation along with Mario Robles in the realization of Image of Caracas (1965-68). His first cinematographic work Pequeño Mundo dates from 1973. In 1975 in company of Iván Feo he realizes, by initiative of INCIBA / National Council of the Culture, the films Descarga. Also in company of Iván Feo directs his firs full length feature Portable Country based on the homonymous novel of Adriano González Leon, giving place to one of the most important films of the venezuelan cinematography.   His next film Adiós Miami, is a comedy of black humor about the contradictions and miseries of a Venezuelan who has ascended on the social scale on the basis of easy wealth.   With Profundo, his third feature, based on the play by José Ignacio Cabrujas, Llerandi elaborates a comedy with deep popular roots and, essentially, Latin American.

Pierce Oliver Brewer, Jr. was an American actor, land developer, and professional underwater diver. He adopted the name "Capt. Kidd" after his father, Julius "Kidd" Brewer, a former award-winning coach and land developer. Growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina, Brewer, Jr. moved to Los Angeles where he became known for his appearances in the James Cameron films "Piranha II: The Spawning" (1982) and "The Abyss" (1989). Years of scuba diving off the coast of North Carolina helped in both of these roles. The film "The Abyss" was dedicated to his memory.
