Two bad people are about to meet two worse people.
Mickey et Jules sont deux amants en fuite vers la Floride afin d’y vivre un nouveau départ. Lorsque leur voiture tombe en panne, suite à un cambriolage dans une station-service, ils entrent par effraction dans une maison avoisinante à la recherche d’un nouveau moyen de transport. Mais ils tombent plutôt sur un lourd secret de même que sur deux propriétaires gentils comme tout qui prendront tous les moyens pour éviter que ce secret ne soit révélé.
