Depuis la mort de sa grand-mère, Gwen a repris sa pâtisserie. Elle a du mal à maintenir à flot ce commerce et ne parvient pas à retrouver la recette du merveilleux gâteau de Noël de son aïeule. Lorsqu'un grand chef décide de tourner une émission de Noël dans sa ville, Gwen accepte, un peu à contrecœur, d'aider Gavin, le producteur, à préparer le tournage.
