Thomas Carter, auteur et coach personnel se fait mystérieusement enlevé par l'un de ses clients, Angel Sanchez. Perturbé, ce dernier cherche à utiliser les enseignements de Thomas sur le Karma (Vipaka) afin de le terroriser lui et toute sa famille pour leurs péchés passés.
