Elisabeth Maria Silva de Faria known professionally as Betty Faria (born May 8, 1941 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian actress. She is best known for her interpretation of the title character in the 1989 telenovela Tieta. She (co-won with Zezé Motta on Night Angels) the award for best actress at the 1987 Gramado Film Festival for "Anjos do Arrabalde" (or "Angels of the Outskirts").

Rockets Redglare (May 8, 1949 – May 28, 2001) was an American character actor and stand-up comedian.  As well as his career as an entertainer, he worked as a roadie for a band called The Hassles (with a young Billy Joel), and as a bodyguard and drug supplier to punk rock bassist Sid Vicious and artist-musician Jean Michel Basquiat.

Dreya Weber (born Andrea Weber; born May 8, 1961) is an American actress, producer and aerialist.She was born in Bloomington, Indiana,  and attended Hunter College in New York.She performed aerial silks at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.She has worked as an aerialist for entertainers including Madonna and Pink, for whom she choreographed several aerial acts including the performance of Pink at the 2010 Grammy Awards. She toured with Cher during her Living Proof farewell tour and choreographed all of the aerial routines. She is currently represented by McDonald Selznick Associates. She produced and stars in The Gymnast (film) (2006)  which took home 28 festival awards, including Best Feature at Outfest,  Newfest and Frameline, and demonstrated her aerialist skills. She also produced and stars in A Marine Story about the US Military policy of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. She describes herself as omnisexual. She is perhaps best known for her role as Nola McKenzie in the soap opera, Prisoner (1983), in Sons and Daughters (1985-1986), as Doris Hudson, and in the miniseries, The Harp in the South (1987), and its sequel, Poor Man's Orange (1987), as Delie Stock.

Born in Croydon, Surrey, Wood's first starring TV role was as Vic Brown, opposite Joanne Whalley and Susan Penhaligon, in the 1982 ITV drama series based on the novel A Kind of Loving. He has played Matt Kerr in Press Gang, DCI Gordon Wray in The Bill and Jack Morgan in London's Burning. He also played Captain Smollett in the 1990 TV film, Treasure Island (having previously played Dick in the 1977 BBC version). He has also appeared in a cameo as an Auton masquereading as a Roman commander in the Doctor Who episode The Pandorica Opens. Wood played the role of Blair in Mr. Palfrey of Westminster (1984–85), and Stephen Richford in an episode of the television series A Touch of Frost entitled "Dancing in the Dark" (2004). Gérard Buhr, né le 8 mai 1928 à Strasbourg et mort le 8 janvier 1988 à Paris 14e, est un acteur français. Il est également scénariste pour la télévision et auteur de plusieurs romans noirs sous le pseudonyme de Victor Harter. Réfugié avec sa famille près de Cannes en 1940, il y rencontre Gérard Philipe qui aura une influence décisive sur sa carrière. Habitué des seconds rôles, il se fait remarquer dans Fanfan la Tulipe, où il retrouve Gérard Philipe, et Mémoires d'un flic, avec Michel Simon, avant que son rôle de souteneur dans Bob le flambeur de Jean-Pierre Melville lui vaille les bonnes notes de la critique. En 1954, il crée la pièce d'André Malraux, La Condition humaine, tirée du roman éponyme. Il partage l'affiche avec Curd Jürgens dans Michel Strogoff en 1956 et semble alors une étoile montante du cinéma européen grâce à sa maîtrise du français, de l'allemand et de l'anglais et un physique à la Kirk Douglas, tel que le décrit Cinémonde dans un article d'époque. Mais la super-production Normandie-Niémen ne connaît pas le succès escompté et Gérard Buhr se retrouve à jouer les seconds rôles dans Le cave se rebiffe, Léon Morin prêtre, où il retrouve Jean-Pierre Melville, et le mythique Monocle noir, avec Paul Meurisse. C'est ensuite au théâtre que son destin de comédien le reconduit où il joue les Six hommes en question de Robert Hossein et Frédéric Dard en 1963. En 1965, sous le pseudonyme de Victor Harter, il publie au Fleuve noir son premier roman d'espionnage, dont le héros, nommé Turpin, amateur de jolies femmes et de maserati, lui ressemble étrangement. Il donne une dizaine de titres à cette série et signe également des romans noirs. Sous ce pseudonyme, il rédige également des scénarios comme celui de la série Ton amour et ma jeunesse. En 1966, il joue le rôle de Claus von Stauffenberg dans La Nuit des généraux, avec Peter O'Toole et Omar Sharif, rôle qui sera repris par Tom Cruise dans Walkyrie en 2008. Sa carrière semble prendre un deuxième souffle en 1967, quand il devient le partenaire de Marlon Brando dans La Nuit du lendemain. En 1969, c'est Le Clan des Siciliens, aux côtés de Jean Gabin, Alain Delon et Lino Ventura. Mais l'élan se brise, et hormis Chacal de Fred Zinnemann en 1972, il restera cantonné dans des rôles mineurs jusqu'à la fin de sa vie. Le petit écran lui offre une fin de carrière, sinon brillante, néanmoins fructueuse, en tant que scénariste pour la société de production TélFrance, dirigée par Michel Canello.
