Celeste Jeanne Yarnall (July 26, 1944 – October 7, 2018) was an American actress. She was an amazing woman of many talents who has been very successful in a diverse number of fields. There appears to be nothing she cannot do when she puts her mind to it. Apart from her initial career as model, spokesperson and actress, Celeste has also managed several talented screenwriters, segued into the commercial real estate business, become a championship Tonkinese cat breeder, run her own successful company, hosted a radio show, produced a "How to" video and regularly appears as a speaker/lecturer. At a time when many people would be thinking of an easier life, Celeste studied for and received her Ph. D in nutrition in 1998 and now serves as adjunct professor of nutrition at the Pacific Western University. In addition, Celeste has written two best selling books: 'Natural Cat Care: A Complete Guide to Holistic Care for Cats', and 'Natural Dog Care: A Complete Guide to Holistic Care for Dogs'. As a model and actress, Celeste was renowned for her beauty and very becoming figure, being named the Foreign Press' Most Photogenic Beauty of the Year at the Cannes Film Festival in 1968. She was also the National Association of Theater Owners Most Promising New Star of 1968. Celeste is currently featured as Miss April in Cedco Publishing's popular wall calendar for 2002. The April 2002 issue of 'Femme Fatale' magazine also features a detailed article about Celeste. For Elvis Presley fans, Celeste is remembered as "Ellen", the beautiful young woman Elvis romanced with the song, "A Little Less Conversation", in the film, Live a Little, Love a Little (1968). As Elvis fans know, the track was recently re-mixed by progressive music producer/DJ, Junkie XL, and is currently topping charts around the world. As one of the "swinging chicks of the 1960s", Celeste was not only interviewed by Thomas Lisanti for his fascinating book, "Fantasy Femmes of Sixties Cinema (Interviews with Twenty Actresses from Biker, Beach and Elvis Movies)", but an eye-catching photograph of her was also used for the front cover. Celeste lives and bases her health care practice for cats and dogs in Los Angeles and lives in her new home in Westlake Village.

Born Darlene Wright in Los Angeles in 1938, she began her career as lead singer with the vocal trio, The Blossoms. After a spell as regulars on ABC TV's variety show Shindig! (1964) in the early 60s, the trio went on to sing backup on a variety of Elvis Presley recordings, and even backed him on his 1968 NBC-TV special Elvis: The Comeback Special (1968). For a while, they backed Tom Jones during some of his Las Vegas shows. The Blossoms have the rare distinction of recording a number one hit without ever receiving any credit. Years before the advent of Milli Vanilli, Darlene Love, Fanita James and Gracie Nitzsche sang vocals on the Gene Pitney-penned song "He's a Rebel" that was championed as The Crystals' first (and only) No. 1 US hit. Because of confounding logistics, record producer Phil Spector had to use The Blossoms because The Crystals were on the wrong coast of the US at the time. And since he was up against the clock in L.A. attempting to get his production on the airwaves before the Vikki Carr version, he had no choice. Love also sang vocals on the Bob B. Soxx and the Blue Jeans top twenty hit "Zip-a-Dee Doo Dah".

Grace Byers (née Gealey; born July 26, 1984) is an American actress, known for her role as Anika Calhoun in the Fox music-industry drama, Empire. Gealey then moved to New York City, where she performed Off-Broadway, including in Venus Flytrap: A Femme Noir Mystery, and Rent. In 2013, she performed in the Chicago productions of The Misanthrope and Tartuffe. In 2014, Gealey was cast as Anika Calhoun in the Fox musical prime time drama, Empire opposite Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. The series debuted on January 7, 2015.

Yoshi Oïda (笈田ヨシ, Oida Yoshi?) est un acteur et metteur en scène et auteur japonais, né en 1933 à Kōbe (Japon). Yoshi Oida joue au Japon depuis 1953, à la télévision, au cinéma et au théâtre contemporain. Il arrive en France en 1968 pour travailler avec Peter Brook. En 1970, il entre au Centre International de Recherche Théâtrale (CIRT) fondé par Peter Brook et il participe ensuite à ses plus célèbres spectacles au Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord comme Les iks, La Conférence des oiseaux, Le Mahabharata, La Tempête ou encore L'homme qui. Il joue aussi au cinéma pour Peter Greenaway (The Pillow Book) et écrit trois ouvrages théoriques sur le théâtre qui sont traduits en plusieurs langues : L’Acteur flottant, L’Acteur invisible et L'Acteur rusé. À partir de 1975, parallèlement à son métier de comédien, Yoshi Oida met aussi en scène du théâtre, des opéras et de la danse (Fin de partie de Beckett, Les Bonnes de Jean Genet, Nabucco de Verdi, Don Giovanni de Mozart, etc). Dans le livre L’Acteur flottant , Yoshi Oida écrit son expérience de comédien avec Peter Brook pendant les années 1968 jusqu'en 1988. Dans L’Acteur invisible, Yoshi Oida raconte l’expérience de cet acteur japonais, qui voulait savoir quel sont les us et coutumes du théâtre occidental. Il parle aussi et surtout de son expérience avec Peter Brook, le metteur en scène « officiel » de Shakespeare. Dans L'Acteur rusé, il s'intéresse à la relation entre le métier de comédien et la vie au quotidien. «Qu’ai-je appris sur la scène qui pourrait m’aider à vivre ma vie d’homme ordinaire?» Il écrit également : «Si je montre la lune et que je joue bien, le public ne percevra plus mon existence.»

Donald Crisp was born George William Crisp at the family home in Bow, London. Donald's parents were James Crisp and Elizabeth Crisp, his birth was registered by his mother on 4th September 1882. Donald's sisters were Elizabeth, Ann, Alice (known as Louisa) and Eliza and his brothers were James, John and Mark. Family memories state that Donald's brother-in-law James Needham (Louisa's husband) lent/gave Donald the fare to USA. The family have a photo of Donald which he sent to 'Jimmy' and signed. On 16th February 1937 Donald applied for a US Social Security account number giving his address as N Vista Street Hollywood California, and his employers Warner Brothers Pictures, Burbank California. On his application Donald did not know his mother's maiden name.
