She starred in the Japanese original of The Grudge. She married Susumu Fujita in January 2004, however they divorced on 22 July 2005. Megumi's latest movie was a remake of a 2004 Thai film, "Shutter". It was released March 21, 2008, despite the fact that in 2007, she stated that she was retiring from the entertainment business. She portrayed ghost Megumi Tanaka. Around March 12, 2009, she announced that she was 4 months pregnant and planning on marrying her boyfriend of two years, a businessman.

She belonged to the most famous theatrical family in Germany, comparable to the Barrymore family in America. Her early film efforts came in films like De jantjes (1922) and Die Königsloge (1929). Meyer came to America in 1923 from her native Germany. She subsequently became a U.S. citizen. Based on his prior service as an officer in the United States Navy, Robinson earned the nickname "The Admiral". Robinson is a 10-time NBA All-Star, the 1995 NBA MVP, a two-time NBA Champion (1999 and 2003), a two-time Olympic Gold Medal winner (1992, 1996), a two-time Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee (2009 for his individual career, 2010 as a member of the 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball team), and a two-time U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame inductee (2008 individually, 2009 as a member of the 1992 Olympic team). He is widely considered one of the greatest centers in both college basketball and NBA history. To date, Robinson is the only player from the Naval Academy to play in the NBA.

Elle est également danseuse, joue du piano et des percussions, et compose à la guitare. Elle accède à la notoriété après sa participation à la saison 3 de Star Academy en France, où elle arrive jusqu'en demi-finale en deuxième place, derrière Élodie Frégé. Du 30 août au 12 décembre 2003, alors qu'elle est étudiante à l'université Paris-Dauphine, elle participe en tant que candidate à la 3e saison de l'émission de TF1, Star Academy, où elle arrive jusqu'en demi-finale.
