Stuart Hughes (born August 9th, 1959) is a Canadian actor and director.

Jacques David, connu sous le nom de scène Mario David, est un acteur français, né le 9 août 1927 à Charleville (Ardennes) et mort le 29 avril 1996 dans le 13e arrondissement de Paris. Il est scolarisé à l'école de Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat. Il débute très tôt sa carrière artistique dans le monde du cirque et du cabaret en y étant à la fois clown, acrobate et dompteur de fauves. Il effectue aussi une carrière honorable dans le culturisme qui lui permet de développer un physique imposant dont il tirera avantageusement parti dans la suite de sa carrière. Habitué aux seconds rôles, il endosse souvent le rôle du truand candide, de la brute naïve, de la force de la nature au cœur tendre. Robert Dhéry l'engage dans sa célèbre troupe Les Branquignols et, en 1954, Robert Hossein l'emploie à son tour au théâtre du Grand-Guignol. À la télévision, on le voit dans Les Cinq Dernières Minutes de Claude Loursais, dans Vidocq de Marcel Bluwal, dans La Tête des autres, de Raymond Rouleau et Les Saintes Chéries de Jean Becker et dans Les Dossiers secrets de l'inspecteur Lavardin de Claude Chabrol. C'est surtout au cinéma qu'il devient une figure populaire grâce à ses nombreuses apparitions dans des seconds rôles, notamment aux côtés de Louis de Funès. On retient son apparition dans le film Oscar, d'Édouard Molinaro, où il se livre à une démonstration de pectoraux et triceps savoureuse. Il y incarne Philippe Dubois, le masseur un peu benêt et naïf, rôle qu'il tint d'abord au théâtre dans la pièce éponyme dès la mise en scène de Jacques Mauclair en 1958, puis de nouveau en 1971. À l'écran, il est également dirigé par Jean Renoir dans Le Caporal épinglé sorti en 1962. Claude Chabrol, encore, souvent l'intègre à la distribution artistique de ses œuvres, par exemple dans Les Bonnes Femmes en 1960, Landru en 1963 ou encore Les Fantômes du chapelier en 1982. Un de ses derniers rôles, en 1994, est dans un autre film de Claude Chabrol, L'Enfer. Il collabore avec Robert Hossein dans la mise en scène théâtrale de grands moments de la Révolution française. Il est marié à Françoise Cornu, avec qui il a une fille prénommée Élisa. Mario David meurt d'une embolie pulmonaire à l'hôpital de la Pitié-Salpêtrière de Paris. Miguel Littín directed the most popular Chilean film of all times, El Chacal de Nahueltoro (1969) becoming a figure of the New Latin American Cinema. In México he directed several films. Letters from Marusia, based on a miners strike in Chile. Letters from Marusia was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. El Recurso del Método (Long Live the President) based on the Alejo Carpentier's book El Recurso del método (Reasons of State) a co-production with Mexico,France and Cuba. The Widow of Montiel with Geraldine Chaplin based on a Gabriel García Márquez short story. Then he went to Nicaragua to do Alsino and the Condor, based the novel Alsino by Pedro Prado. In 1981 he was a member of the jury at the 12th Moscow International Film Festival. He moved to Spain in 1984, Littín decided to enter Chile clandestine to do a documentary that showed the condition of the country under the Pinochet's regime. It was made the subject of Nobel Laureate Gabriel Garcia Marquez's book Clandestine in Chile: The Adventures of Miguel Littin. He eventually returned to Chile where he continued to make films, among them Tierra del Fuego based on the adventures of Julius Popper an explorer and Dawson, Isla 10, about a group of political prisoners sent to Dawson's island during Pinochet's regime. Littín was the mayor of his home town in the center valley, Palmilla in 1992-94 and re-elected for the period 1996-2000. His films Actas de Marusia and Alsino and the Condor were nominated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for Best Film in a Foreign Language. Alsino and the Condor won the Golden Prize at the 13th Moscow International Film Festival. His 2005 film The Last Moon was entered into the 27th Moscow International Film Festival.

Deion Luwynn Sanders Sr. (born August 9, 1967) is an American football coach and former player who is the head football coach at the University of Colorado Boulder. Nicknamed "Prime Time", he played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, and Baltimore Ravens. Sanders was also a baseball outfielder for nine seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) with the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and San Francisco Giants. He won two Super Bowl titles and made one World Series appearance in 1992, making him the only athlete to play in both a Super Bowl and a World Series.

Burkely Duffield (born August 9, 1992) is a Canadian actor. He is known for his roles as Eddie Miller in House of Anubis and as Holden Matthews in Beyond. His sister is actress and singer Victoria Duffield. Duffield made his screen debut in the 2006 drama film Under the Mistletoe. He then went on to play a main role in the Nickelodeon mystery series, House of Anubis. From 2017–2018, Duffield starred in the main role of Holden Matthews in the sci-fi drama series Beyond, which lasted two seasons. In August 2019, Duffield was cast in the Netflix slasher film There's Someone Inside Your House. The film was released on October 6, 2021.
