Gérard Darrieumerlou dit Gérard Darrieu, né le 11 septembre 1925 à Arnicourt et mort le 22 janvier 2004 à Paris 15e, est un acteur français. Gérard Darrieu commence sa carrière comme décorateur de théâtre et assistant à la mise en scène. En 1946, il devient comédien, jouant au théâtre, au cinéma et à la télévision. Il fait partie pendant plusieurs années du groupe Les Théophiliens, fondé par Gustave Cohen dans les années 1930. Au théâtre, Il monte sur les planches des théâtres parisiens sous la direction de Robert Hossein puis de bien d'autres, dont Louis Jouvet, Roger Planchon, Jean Vilar, Luchino Visconti ou Roger Blin. Son physique athlétique et sa voix grave lui conféraient une forte présence sur scène. Il est enterré au cimetière parisien de Saint-Ouen (division 30). Had his own TV show in L.A. called Freedom Forum, ran for U.S. Congress 46th district in 1946. Graduated from Huntington Park High School and USC. Last appearance was in Funny Girl as the Judge.
