James Joseph Gandolfini Jr. (September 18, 1961 – June 19, 2013) was an American actor and producer. He was best known for his role as Tony Soprano, the Italian-American crime boss in HBO's television series The Sopranos, for which he won three Emmy Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and one Golden Globe Award. Gandolfini's portrayal of Tony Soprano is widely regarded as among the greatest performances in television history. Gandolfini's notable film roles include mob henchman Virgil in True Romance (1993), Lt. Bobby Dougherty in Crimson Tide (1995), Colonel Winter in The Last Castle (2001) and Mayor of New York in The Taking of Pelham 123 (2009). Other roles are enforcer and stuntman Bear in Get Shorty (1995) and impulsive "Wild Thing" Carol in Where the Wild Things Are (2009). For his performance as Albert in Enough Said (2013), Gandolfini posthumously received much critical praise and several awards, including a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination and the Boston Society of Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor. In 2007, Gandolfini produced Alive Day Memories: Home from Iraq, a documentary in which he interviewed injured Iraq War veterans and in 2010, Wartorn: 1861–2010 examining the impact of post-traumatic stress disorder on soldiers and families throughout several wars in U.S. history from 1861 to 2010. In addition to Alive Day Memories, he also produced television film Hemingway & Gellhorn (2012), which gained him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Limited Series nomination. He also appeared as Rob Singhal in the acclaimed BBC miniseries based on John le Carré's The Night Manager. Adeel became a patron of Half Moon Theatre in autumn 2016.

D'origine modeste, son père étant balayeur de rue à Stockholm, elle quitte l'école en 1920 pour des raisons financières et devient savonneuse chez un barbier, puis vendeuse dans un grand magasin. Elle pose alors comme modèle pour le catalogue de ce magasin et joue dans des films publicitaires, produits par ce grand magasin, jusqu'à sa démission, «pour faire des films» et son inscription au Conservatoire royal d'Art dramatique de Suède. Elle fait à cette occasion la rencontre de Mauritz Stiller, à la recherche de jeunes comédiennes pour son prochain film et qui devient son mentor. En 1923, elle prend pour nom de scène Garbo, multiplie les rôles au théâtre et tourne avec Stiller la Légende de Gösta Berling, qui sort en 1924. Elle est alors repérée par le réalisateur autrichien Georg Wilhelm Pabst qui l'emploie dans la Rue sans joie en 1925, tourné à Berlin. Surnommée «la Divine», elle tourne son dernier film en 1941. Elle se retire alors de la vie publique jusqu'à la fin de sa vie, refusant toute interview, ce qui contribue un peu plus à édifier son mythe. Le réalisateur Federico Fellini dit d'elle qu'«elle fut la fondatrice d'un ordre religieux appelé cinéma». June Foray (born June Lucille Forer; September 18, 1917 – July 26, 2017) was an American voice actress. She was best known as the voice of such animated characters as Rocky the Flying Squirrel, Natasha Fatale, Nell Fenwick, Lucifer from Disney's Cinderella, Cindy Lou Who, Jokey Smurf, Granny from the Warner Bros. cartoons directed by Friz Freleng, Grammi Gummi from Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears series, and Magica De Spell, among many others. Her career encompassed radio, theatrical shorts, feature films, television, records (particularly with Stan Freberg), video games, talking toys, and other media. Foray was also one of the early members of ASIFA-Hollywood, the society devoted to promoting and encouraging animation. She is credited with the establishment of the Annie Awards, as well as being instrumental in the creation of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2001. She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame honoring her voice work in television. Chuck Jones was quoted as saying: "June Foray is not the female Mel Blanc. Mel Blanc was the male June Foray."
