Calogero, de son vrai nom Calogero Joseph Salvatore Maurici, né le 30 juillet 1971 à Échirolles, près de Grenoble, en Isère, est un chanteur, compositeur et musicien français. Ses parents sont des immigrés, des Siciliens de Sommatino dans la province de Caltanissetta. Dès sa petite enfance, Calogero s'intéresse à la musique. Il apprend rapidement à jouer de plusieurs instruments, dont la flûte, le piano, et la basse. Il débute dans la musique en formant à l'âge de 16 ans le groupe Les Charts en 1987 avec son frère Gioacchino et Francis Maggiulli. En 1999, il se lance dans une carrière en solo avec l'album Au milieu des autres, et devient populaire à partir de son deuxième album, Calogero, sorti en 2002. L'année 2020 marque la sortie de son huitième album solo, Centre ville. Les parents de Calogero sont originaires de Sommatino (Sicile). Il grandit dans les villages de Saint-Michel-de-Saint-Geoirs et Saint-Étienne-de-Saint-Geoirs en Isère. Calogero a une sœur et deux frères. Avant de se lancer dans une carrière musicale il est apprenti plombier à Grenoble et apprenti boucher à Paris. Il reste marié durant sept années avec Hortense d'Estève, avec qui il a eu deux filles, Nina née en 2003 et Romy en 2006. Il vit ensuite avec la chanteuse-parolière Marie Bastide, avec qui il a deux autres enfants, un garçon, Pio né en 2013 et, une fille, Rita en 2016. Calogero participe également à de nombreuses œuvres caritatives. On le retrouve dans Les Enfoirés de 2004 à 2007. Il participe au collectif Noël Ensemble en 2002, ainsi que sur le titre Y a pas un homme qui soit né pour ça avec Florent Pagny et Pascal Obispo pour le Sidaction. Il participe au single Douce France, cause menée par Marc Lavoine en 2006 dans le but de combattre la discrimination et d’aider les jeunes à trouver du travail. Il participe au concert Les grands gamins organisé par Zazie et Vincent Baguian au profit de Sol En Si. En octobre 2010, il chante pour le concert de solidarité 300 jours déjà... pour Hervé Ghesquière et Stéphane Taponier. Il participe régulièrement au Televie de Belgique. Calogero participe à l'émission consacrée à Grégory Lemarchal diffusée le 16 août 2014 sur TF1 afin de soutenir la recherche sur la mucoviscidose. A Nice, le 14 juillet 2017, Calogero interprète la chanson Les feux d'artifice en hommage aux victimes des Attentats de Nice. Il s´agissait d´une demande de la part des familles des victimes. Le 17 juin 2018, après le tournage du clip Voler de nuit en collaboration avec le photographe et réalisateur Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Calogero se produit au sein du domaine de la Fondation GoodPlanet à Paris. En juin 2018, il est le Parrain du "Concours d´écriture Antoine de Saint-Exupéry" à la fondation du même nom. Dans une vidéo, il y invite les jeunes francophones à écrire une lettre porteuse d’un message d’espoir et d’avenir pour la planète. En 2018, il participe au festival Un Autre Monde à Massongex (Suisse) au profit de la fondation Terre des Hommes. Wiseman is the youngest daughter of Dorothy and Kevin Wiseman and has three older brothers. She grew up in Milford, Pennsylvania and Gaithersburg, Maryland, attended the DC Shakespeare Theatre’s high school outreach program, earned her BFA in Theatre Arts at Boston University, and studied between 2011 and 2015 at Juilliard School's Drama Division where one of her classmates was future Star Trek: Discovery cast member Mary Chieffo. Another classmate is actor Noah Averbach-Katz, whom she started dating in 2013. The couple married on February 16, 2019. Wiseman's stage roles have included Nitzan Halperin's Sow and Weep (2008, Boston University College of Fine Arts in New York), Ariel Carson's I Wanted it to Have a How & I Wanted it to Have a Verb (2011, Dixon Place) and Betsy/Lindsay in Clybourne Park (2013, Chautauqua Theater Company). Mary Dawne Arden (July 30, 1933 – December 13, 2014) was an American actress who worked in both Hollywood and Italy. Arden was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but moved to New York City at the age of 12 to attend an art school. Arden had a successful modeling career in Europe and appeared in numerous Italian movies during the 1960s. This actress is not to be confused with Mary Arden, who worked in Hollywood in the 1930s and 1940s but worked professionally as Mary Arden. Mary Arden's best-known role is that of model Peggy Peyton in Mario Bava's Blood and Black Lace. Aside from acting in the film, Arden was also responsible for writing its English dialogue, as she seemed to the original translated screenplay to be too stilted.[1] She also made an uncredited cameo appearance in Juliet of the Spirits as an on-screen TV personality. In the 1960s, she also worked in the United States as a member of the June Taylor Dancers, on the televised Jackie Gleason show. While in Italy, she also appeared in photo novels including a well-known series of the period, entitled Kriminal. After living and working in Italy for eight years, she returned to the United States in 1979, and performed in only a couple of more roles, before retiring completely from the cinema. She spent nine years in Latin America where she held marketing and managing positions for Helena Rubinstein Cosmetics. When she returned to NYC, she began her own marketing and body language consulting practice, Arden Associates. Arden was also on the faculty of New York University, in the Department of Culture and Communication, where she taught business communication. Arden married A.A. Hansi in Rome in 1965. Arden died in Calvary Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, on December 13, 2014, at the age of 81.
