Francine Canovas, dite Nathalie Delon, est une actrice et réalisatrice française née le 1er août 1941 à Oujda auMaroc et morte le 2 1janvier 2021 à Paris. De 1964 à 1969, elle est l’épouse de l’acteur Alain Delon, qui lui a donné le nom de famille de son nom de scène. Francine Canovas naît le 1er août 1941 au Maroc, alors sous protectorat français, dans une famille d'origine espagnole. Sa mère, Antoinette Rodriguez, est originaire de Melilla et son père, Louis Canovas (1915-2003) est un pied-noir d'Oran, en Algérie, qui dirige une entreprise de transport au Maroc. Elle épouse en premières noces Guy Barthélémy, un appelé du contingent originaire du nord de la France qui deviendra par la suite fondé de pouvoir de l’Omnium marocain d’assurance. Peu après avoir eu une fille Nathalie, ils divorcent. Le 13 août 1964 dans le Loir-et-Cher, en présence seulement du maire et de deux témoins et enceinte d'Anthony, elle épouse l'acteur Alain Delon. Elle prend alors le pseudonyme de Nathalie Delon, en référence à sa fille Nathalie. Nathalie et Alain Delon embarquent à bord du paquebot France au Havre pour un voyage de noces aux États-Unis. Ils vont à Hollywood car Alain Delon a un contrat avec la Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, mais ce dernier est rompu par la compagnie américaine. Leur fils Anthony naît, au Cedar Sinai hospital de Los Angeles. Le couple se sépare définitivement en mai 1968, Alain Delon conserve son hôtel particulier de l'avenue de Messine tandis qu'elle prend un appartement rue François-Ier. Le 14 février 1969, le divorce est prononcé après quatre ans et demi de mariage. Nathalie Delon poursuit sa carrière d'actrice jusque dans les années 1980. Elle réalise en outre deux films, Ils appellent ça un accident en 1982, et Sweet Lies en 1988. De 1978 à 1993, elle vit avec le producteur de musique Chris Blackwell à Nassau aux Bahamas. Taapsee worked as a software professional and also pursued a career in modelling before becoming an actress. During her modelling career, she appeared in a number of commercials and won titles such as "Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face" and "Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin" in 2008.
