In the early 1970s, Trundy played the telepathic mutant Albina in the second Planet of the Apes movie series film Beneath the Planet of the Apes, the early 1970s human Dr. Stephanie ("Stevie") Branton in Escape from the Planet of the Apes, and featured as the nearer-future chimpanzee Lisa, the mate (later wife) of Caesar, in both Conquest of the Planet of the Apes and Battle for the Planet of the Apes.

She began her career training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before earning acclaim for playing diverse roles on stage and screen in both period pieces and modern dramas. Aventurier, boxeur, militaire, joueur, peintre, collectionneur d’art, clochard, buveur, écrivain, acteur, cinéaste, John Huston s'imposera à Hollywood comme scénariste et dialoguiste (il collabora notamment à l'écriture de Sergent York en 1941) puis comme réalisateur. Cahn. En 1941, il signe son premier film en tant que metteur-en-scène, Le Faucon maltais, adaptation d'un roman noir de Dashiell Hammett et dont Humphrey Bogart est la vedette. He has had several notable roles, including playing Ben on the television show Secret Diary Of A Call Girl. He is engaged to Bedlam actress, and fashionista Ashley Madekwe, whom also starred in Secret Diary Of A Call Girl alongside Iddo.
