Darren Majian Shahlavi (5 August 1972 – 14 January 2015), sometimes credited as Shahlavi, was an English actor, martial artist and stuntman. His surname is of Persian origin. He may be best known for his role as Taylor "The Twister" Milos in the 2010 film Ip Man 2. Shahlavi was known primarily for playing bad guys in martial arts films such as Bloodmoon and Tai Chi Boxer. He had starred in the Asian film series The Techno Warriors, and American films Hostile Environment, Sometimes a Hero, Legion of the Dead and the cult classic Beyond the Limits for German horror master Olaf Ittenbach. Yuriy Eduardovich Dumchev (Russian: Юрий Эдуардович Думчев; 5 August 1958 – 10 February 2016) was a Russian track and field athlete for the Soviet Union, who set the world record in the men's discus throw on 29 May 1983 with a distance of 71.86 metres. He was born in Rossosh. That mark, surpassed by current record-holder Jürgen Schult in July 1986, is still the Russian record. A 1980 Olympian, Dumchev also represented the Soviet Union at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, finishing in fourth place (66.42 m). Since 1979, he acted in films (more than 50 films). Lié à Gustave Flaubert et à Émile Zola, Maupassant a marqué la littérature française par ses six romans, dont Une vie en 1883, Bel-Ami en 1885, Pierre et Jean en 1887-1888, et surtout par ses nouvelles (parfois intitulées contes) comme Boule de Suif en 1880, les Contes de la bécasse (1883) ou Le Horla (1887). Ces œuvres retiennent l’attention par leur force réaliste, la présence importante du fantastique et par le pessimisme qui s’en dégage le plus souvent, mais aussi par la maîtrise stylistique. La carrière littéraire de Maupassant se limite à une décennie — de 1880 à 1890 — avant qu’il ne sombre peu à peu dans la folie et ne meure peu avant l'âge de 43 ans. Heidi Sorenson is a Canadian actress. She was born on August 5, 1960 to Danish immigrant parents in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Her father ran a fishing company. Sorenson has two sisters. Heidi graduated from West Vancouver High School. At age seventeen, she got a job as a junior accountant at a local radio station. Heidi was spotted by a scout for "Playboy" magazine after winning a local bikini contest. Sorenson was the Playmate of the Month in the July, 1981 issue of "Playboy". Heidi subsequently became a member of the "Singing Playmates" musical group and continued to pose for additional pictorials for "Playboy" well into her thirties.
