Arnaud Viard est un acteur, auteur et réalisateur français, né le 22 août 1965 à Lyon. Il est le fils d’Henri Viard chirurgien à Dijon, et de Bernadette Viard. Il est le deuxième d’une fratrie de 5 enfants. Il a passé son enfance à Fixin et vit désormais à Paris. Sa sœur Virginie Viard est styliste de mode et costumière. Diplômé d'une école de commerce, il travaille un an à New York puis à Londres dans la publicité, avant de rentrer à Paris, où il voit le film de Peter Weir Le Cercle des poètes disparus qui l’incite, à 25 ans, à pousser la porte du Cours Florent. En 2018, il tourne son troisième film, une adaptation du livre d'Anna Gavalda, Je voudrais que quelqu'un m'attende quelque part avec Jean-Paul Rouve, Alice Taglioni, Aurore Clément, Benjamin Lavernhe, Camille Rowe et Elsa Zylberstein.
