Dès lors, Clark Johnson multiplie les petits rôles que ce soit au cinéma (Nuit de folie (1987), Colors (1988), Drop zone (1994)) ou dans des séries télévisées (Second city, Hot shots, Dans la chaleur de la nuit, La Loi de Los Angeles). Il interprète le détective Meldrick Lewis dans le feuilleton Homicide et est nommé en 1993 au Prix de la Télévision canadienne pour son rôle récurrent de Clarke Roberts dans la série E.N.G.. Clark Johnson s'essaie également à la mise en scène, d'abord pour le petit écran : dès 1993, il réalise la deuxième saison d'Homicide puis plusieurs épisodes de New York police blues et New York 911. Dix ans plus tard, il exporte son savoir-faire au cinéma en dirigeant S.W.A.T. unité d'élite, un polar musclé adapté de la célèbre série, avec comme membres de cette brigade de choc Samuel L. Jackson, LL Cool J, Colin Farrell ou encore Michelle Rodriguez. Anurag Kashyap is an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer and actor. He is often regarded as the face of an emerging new wave cinema for producing numerous independent films with newcomers.
