Judith Amanda "Judy" Geeson (born 10 September 1948) is an English film, stage, and television actress. Her first major film appearance was as wayward teenager Pamela Dare in To Sir, with Love in 1967 alongside Sidney Poitier and popular singer Lulu. In the same year, she appeared in Berserk!. She became well-known as a result of a regular role in the BBC early-evening soap opera, The Newcomers. She also had a major role in the popular 1970s costume drama Poldark as Caroline Penvenen Enys. Her other notable films include Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush (1967), Prudence and the Pill, 10 Rillington Place, Doomwatch and Brannigan. In the TV series Danger UXB, she played the female lead, Susan Mount, opposite Anthony Andrews and had the lead role of Fulvia in Sci-Fi series Star Maidens. In 1984, Geeson left London for Los Angeles where she decided to stay. Among other roles she appeared regularly on hit US sitcom Mad About You as the neighbour from Hell, Maggie Conway. She also had a recurring role as Sandrine on Star Trek Voyager episodes "Twisted" and "The Cloud". Having always had an interest in antiques, for ten years she ran her own antique store, Blanche & Co, on West 3rd Street in Beverly Hills, in addition accepting occasional acting roles. He is best known for starring in numerous horror films, including as Robert in Annabelle (2014), Martin Wells in Lights Out (2016), Andy Barclay in Child's Play (2019), and Kyle Hunter in Unhinged (2020). Bateman made his acting debut in 2012, appearing in the film George Biddle, CPA. In 2014, he had a supporting role as Robert in the supernatural horror film Annabelle, a spin-off of the acclaimed horror film The Conjuring. From 2014 to 2015, he starred as Ethan Taylor in the CBS drama thriller series Stalker. In November 2014, he was cast in Robert Kirkman's Cinemax horror drama series Outcast. He appeared in the series as Joshua Austin from 2016 to 2017. In 2015, he had guest roles in various television series, including Your Family or Mine, Wicked City, and Code Black. In 2016, Bateman played a leading role, alongside Teresa Palmer, in the supernatural horror film Lights Out, which was produced by James Wan. Also that year, he starred as Jack Hawthorne in the CBS mystery drama series American Gothic, which ran for one season. In 2018, he starred as Carter Hughes in the Netflix family comedy film Benji. He also starred as Wyatt McKenna in the Prime Video comedy drama series The Dangerous Book for Boys. Bateman starred in commercials for Staples, Frigidaire, Energizer EcoAdvanced Recycled Batteries, Iams, and the Cadillac CTS Sedan. He also appeared in two music videos ("It's a Job" and "A New Beginning") for the album I Remembered But Then I Forgot by Wolfie's Just Fine, a folk music side project of Jon Lajoie. In 2019, Bateman received further recognition for starring as Andy Barclay in the horror film Child's Play, alongside Aubrey Plaza. The film was a critical and commercial success. Also that year, he starred as Charlie Brenner in the musical adventure film Playmobil: The Movie and as Scott in the historical war film Robert the Bruce. In 2020, he starred as Oliver Reed in the family film Think Like a Dog and as Kyle Hunter in the thriller film Unhinged, alongside Russell Crowe.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Robert Earl Wise (September 10, 1914 – September 14, 2005) was an American sound effects editor, film editor, film producer and director. He won Academy Awards as Best Director for The Sound of Music (1965) and West Side Story (1961) as well as nominations as Best Film Editing for Citizen Kane (1941) and Best Picture for The Sand Pebbles (1966). Among his other films are Born to Kill; Destination Gobi; The Hindenburg; Star Trek: The Motion Picture; The Day the Earth Stood Still; Run Silent, Run Deep; The Andromeda Strain; The Set-Up; The Haunting; and The Body Snatcher. Wise's working period spanned the 1930s to the 1990s. Often contrasted with contemporary "auteur" directors such as Stanley Kubrick who tended to bring a distinctive directorial "look" to a particular genre, Wise is famously viewed to have allowed his (sometimes studio assigned) story to dictate style. Later critics such as Martin Scorsese would go on to expand that characterization, insisting that despite Wise's notorious workaday concentration on stylistic perfection within the confines of genre and budget, his choice of subject matter and approach still functioned to identify Wise as an artist and not merely an artisan. Through whatever means, Wise's approach would bring him critical success as a director in many different traditional film genres: from horror to noir to Western to war films to science fiction, to musical and drama, with many repeat hits within each genre.
